The Institute of Emotion-Focused Therapy Ireland was established in 2015 to promote the scientific development of Emotion-Focused Therapy research and practice in Dublin, Ireland.
The institute was established with the following goals in mind: to offer psychological therapy and counselling, to provide training for mental health professionals in emotion-focused and related psychotherapies, and to support research on the development and application of Emotion-Focused Therapy.
The institute collaborates with national and international academic and research bodies, and is accredited by the International Society for Emotion-Focused Therapy (iEFT).
